Hidrock Properties partnered with New York Cares to help P.S 20 on the Lower East Side to prepare for the school year. A nonprofit focused on volunteer management, New York Cares assigned the Hidrock team with tasks and provided tools to get the job done. Some tasks included; setting up wall planters in the cafeteria for a future planting project for the students, putting together furniture and hanging mirrors to spruce up the bathrooms, painting the school’s surrounding fence from black to a multicolored pattern and move textbooks and furniture to appropriate class rooms. The biggest collaborative effort was a completely hand painted sign that will be hung in the cafeteria to encourage the students to have proper etiquette.
